Spectacle Lenses

You’ve selected your frames but what about the lenses? We’ll help you sift through all the eyewear options.

Our team of experienced opticians will give you information on the most appropriate lens type: single vision, computer lenses, bifocal, trifocal, multi-focal or progressive. We’ll match your lens needs with your prescription and go over all the different options in premium lenses and coatings to enhance your vision. We offer the latest materials and technological developments available to maximize your vision without affecting your active lifestyle.

Bring the prescription from your doctor and receive a discount when you buy frame and lenses!

Maybe progressive lenses would make life easier. Perhaps, your love of sports dictates extra tough lenses or your high prescription requires extra thin and light lenses. Whatever your requirements, we make sure your lenses suit these needs. We can offer you branded, or unbranded lenses. Choose whatever suits your life style and your budget.

Free-Form Lens Technology

The newest lens technology in the industry. These lenses are digitally surfaced using both the front and back surfaces of the lenses. Most clients compare it to seeing in high definition.

Eyeland is an independent practice which simply means more choice for you.

Computer eyeglasses

Computer lenses (Near Variable Focus) are made especially for people over 40 with presbyopia, a condition in which near vision becomes blurred with age. Sometimes called computer glasses, these lenses are often used by people who sit in front of a computer work station for long periods. But others use them to read, sew or other close-up tasks. They are task-oriented lenses and are not designed to be worn all the time. It works similar to a typical progressive lens. A small area at the top of the lens is used for distance, where you can see about 10 feet out. The middle area is larger so you can comfortably view a computer screen or anything else directly in front of you.

If you’ve tried computer glasses in the past, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by today’s advanced technology lenses. Contact us for more information.
